FIRST THOUGHTS ABOUT THE PPV!

Posted by Warren Peace 5-2-11

What a night everyone, what a night indeed. Spring Breakout was something special. it was more than just a wrestling show. It was a statement. The LPW roster went out there a put it all on the line not just for themselves, but for this company. Titles changed hands, friendships were tested, and our first Legacy champion was crowned.

That was some main event wasn't? You're welcome! Everyone looked at me with gaping eyes when I put Drake into that match, but look at how much better the performance became. You all saw how much more difficult it was for Rod to win that match. It made sure that the man who won the title deserved the title...And despite not being named General Manager of Proving Grounds the event was a total success. You all set the bar very, very high. Don't fall down when it's it comes time to raise it once more.

MESSAGE FROM THE GM!

Posted by Chris Brock 4-19-11

Approximately 30 days ago, I made a decision that I am proud to say was one of the best I have made in the 15 years I have been in this business. I thought I was out for good four years ago when I retired from the ring as an undefeated champion in the last company I worked for, but here I am four years later watching this amazing company grow into the best federation that I have ever had the privilege to work for.

Legacy Pro Wrestling is growing every day and as the General Manager of Thursday Night War-Fare, I am getting to see its growth first hand. The talent roster that Kip Kutler and Caleb Hawk have put together, and continue to put together, is simply put…Talented. The main event that we have established for Spring Break-Out is going to be hands down the best match in the company’s history. Jason Carpenter and Trevor Rod have both earned their spots on this roster by wading through a whole slew of very talented wrestlers and their show down will be of epic proportions; I am sure of it.

Then there is the Venom title. A title that Caleb deserves one hundred percent credit for. Originally there was going to be four singles titles in LPW; The Legacy title, the 3 Nations title, the Venom title, and the Octane title. What happened to the Octane title, do you ask? That’s an interesting story.

Shortly after I became GM, I went to Caleb and told him that there were just not enough wrestlers on the roster to justify four titles and a tag team title. Caleb Immediately said that he would not get rid of the Venom title as he loved the name, so he decided to take the Octane title which was going to be our cruiserweight belt and merge it with the Venom title, which was going to be a strictly hardcore title. Once merged, it created our high flying hardcore division that is simply known as the Venom title division.

Our first crowned champion shocked the World and the wrestling industry when the only active female wrestler on the roster beat nine other competitors AND one of the best up and comers in the business in Evan Drayne. Since then, her life has been less than stellar as she has not one, but TWO of LPW’s most violent wrestlers gunning for her title. The first ladder match in LPW history is going to be something that you will not want to miss, I promise you that.

And then there is the rest of the LPW roster; all of whom are very talented, but more important than that, very hungry. This roster is willing to do whatever it takes to get to the top and win what is already considered the most coveted title in this entire industry; The LPW Legacy title. There are many words that can be used to describe this roster, but the one I think works the best…is wanting. And that is JUST the way I like it.

NOTE FROM THE ASST. GM!

Posted by Warren Peace Asst. GM 4-18-11

I got into this business because of my father and although I am "new" to the game I cannot express how excited I am to have to opportunity to help such a great group of guys build a company from the ground up. This is of course no easy task and it would not be possible at all without the exceptional talent putting themselves in harms way with the same goal in mind.

Since I was hired I have seen some great things from these wrestlers and each week they only continue to impress me with exceptional physical prowess. This week we have what's known as the "Go Home" show before our very first (of many) Pay Per View events. The card is spectacular.

We have some new talent in the company, some much larger than others. I am particularly interested to see War Train and Chevelle. I am far from a monster sized competitor so I am always interested to see how men of that caliber compete. Kid and Stone have their work cut out for them in their respective matches.

Who hasn't been impresses with Mind's Eye? A relative newcomer who is quickly earning his keep in the LPW, but he has his biggest match to date against Evan Drayne. One of these two will face Hunter for the 3 Nations title at Spring Breakout, no doubt they will both be on top form. Hunter should keep a keen eye on them both.

Our Venom champion has had a very interesting couple of weeks since winning the title and the plot only thickens with the tag bout this week. Regardless I believe this match will be decided by Red Dragon. he is the wild card and how he performs this week will be a key in a win or loss for team of Draven/Dragon

Our main event contract signing is must see television. Mark my words this will be something special that your great grandchildren will ask you many a question about. Trevor and Carpenter competed very valiant;y and triumphantly earned their spot to face off for the legacy title. After this contract has been signed all of the pieces will be in place for the legacy championship match. One thing is certain whomever wins this title is well deserved.

- Assistant General Manager Warren Peace
